Preferably 12th standard pass

Preferably completed photography course/preferably aerial photography

Preferably experience required as an aerial photographer

The tasks a Photographer, Aerial is expected to perform include: Photographing objects, places and areas of vital importance from aeroplanes in flight, for use in surveys, planning, development and other scientific and military purposes Operating and maintaining automatic cameras and photo equipment for aerial photographs

Developing aerial films of various types in automatic, semi-automatic or manual tank developers Making prints for photo interpretation

In-depth knowledge of various types of cameras, lens, terminology used in photography, camera angles, etc.Knowledge of measuring day light using exposing meter, focusing lens and adjusting lens opening and exposure time

Knowledge of loading camera, adjusting exposure-time and exposing film by opening shutter at calculated intervals

In-depth understanding of determining number of exposures and time lapse between them Working knowledge of pressing lever to open lens shutter and exposing film or plate by pressing lever, allowing time, if necessary and removing negative from camera Working knowledge of photo printing, enlarging, fixing solutions, etc.

Knowledge of how a UAV/drones functions

Knowledge of air traffic control regulations

Time management skills

It is partially a desk and partially a field job

Work from home is not available

Part-time work, contractual and free-lancing jobs are available

Travelling is a part of this job role

Working hours

Since lot of photographers work on their own there is no fixed work time

The time and days depends on the number of events, occasions, etc.Photographers working in organisations may have fixed working hours which again may depend on the day?s events

There is no concept of shift work as photography is based on the requirement

A photographer is required to work on holidays and weekends

For candidates with up to 5 yearsexperience INR 15,000 to INR 30,000 per month

For candidates with above 5 yearsexperience INR 30,000 to INR 70,000 per month
