The tasks a Photographer, General is expected to perform include: Taking photographs of persons, places, or other subjects, using various kinds of photographic equipment

Taking colour photographs and developing colour films adopting special processes Arranging artificial lighting and holding or placing camera at desired angle and distance from subject to be photographed Loading camera with film or plate Developing negatives in darkroom by dipping it in developers, washing it in fixing solution and further washing it in water and allowing developed film to dry Examining developed films for defects, and retouching negative using pencil or brush after applying retouching medium Making prints or enlargements in sensitized paper; drying them by grazing on glazing-sheet or by spreading on flat surface and trimming glazed or unglazed prints according to required size and mounting them Specialising in studio photography, taking photographs of important events for reproduction in newspapers, buildings, machinery, industrial plants, for trade advertisements

In-depth knowledge of various types of cameras, lens, terminology used in photography, camera angles, etc.Knowledge of measuring day light using exposing meter, focusing lens and adjusting lens opening and exposure time

Working knowledge of pressing lever to open lens shutter and exposing film or plate by pressing lever, allowing time, if necessary and removing negative from camera Working knowledge of photo printing, enlarging, fixing solutions, etc.

Knowledge on forecasting future market trends basis data collection
