Minimum ? 12th Certified training for Equity Dealer (programme aligned to BSC/Q 0201 released by BFSI Sector Skill Council of India)

Preferably relevant work experience

The tasks an Equity Dealer is expected to perform include: Buying and selling investment and financial instruments like stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds on behalf of the customer

Providing market insights and investment advice to clients as per organizational standards and procedures

Knowledge of different types of securities like stocks, bonds etc.Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and principles like balance sheet, profit/loss, journal, ledger etc.Knowledge of financial markets

Proficiency in carrying out secondary research to develop market insights

Proficiency in IT processes to raise queries and resolve minor technical problems

Knowledge of controls and processes for operating exchange terminal

Knowledge of economic concepts like Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, macroeconomic indicators etc.Knowledge of factors influencing prices at which securities are bought and sold like global conditions, financial results of the company etc.

Training in NCFM (beginners or dealer?s module) certification or NISM (Module 7) certification
