Training in APQP/CP, pre-delivery inspection techniques, handling basic inspection equipment, introduction to MSA/SPC, PFMEA, etc.

Certified training for QC Inspector (programme aligned to ASC/ Q6301 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

Minimum 1-3 years in a quality/manufacturing department

The tasks a QC Inspector is expected to perform include:

Performing a quality inspection of the manufactured products

Inspecting the manufactured products as per the quality standards

Co-ordinating with respective process owners/seniors in QA in case of any discrepancies

Implementing CAPA for discrepancies

Repeating the entire QA process till all discrepancies are resolved

Documenting all findings and maintaining proper records

Dockingthe audit of a sample batch from production

Basic knowledge of the manufacturing process followed for each product

Knowledge of inspection checkpoints NPD, production, dock audit, etc.Familiar with APQP procedures Familiar with problem solving and analysis tools like 8Ds, five why analysis, etc.Knowledge of RCA analysis techniques Basic knowledge of requirements of PPAP-PFMEA, CPKnowledge of requirements for TS 16949/QMS system followed

Familiar with rejection/inspection reports

Skilled in testing the equipment

Knowledge of information system like SAP, ERP, etc.

Training in 7 QC tools

Good co-ordinating skills
