The tasks a Breaker Tender is expected to perform include:Tending machine that breaks coal into lumps

Starting steel drum containing coal, causing coal to break as it tumbles

Starting conveyors to transfer coal to and from breaker

Observing flow of material on the belt to detect and remove foreign material

Removing metal from pocket of magnet separator

Lubricating breaker with grease gun and oil can

Cleaning work area using shovel and broom

Familiar with coal breaking machine

Knowledge of different equipment used in oiling and greasing process

Familiar with different types of oils and lubricants available

Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedure of the machine
