Certified training for Final Testing Technician (programme aligned to ELE/Q5402 released by Electronics Sector Skills Council of India)

The tasks a Final Testing Technician is expected to perform include:

Testing assembled PCB using test and measuring equipment

Checking passed boards visually and reworking on failed boards

Achieving productivity and quality standards

Proficiency in basic electronics and components values and polarities

Knowledge of testing instrument such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, resistance bridge, or oscilloscope to conduct testing

Familiar with hand-held tools and test machines/equipment for testing

Proficiency in testing electronic components such as diodes, transistors with reference to circuit diagram

Familiar with debugging, schematics, PCB design, assembly process, wire diagram and interpretation of technical drawings

Acquainted with how to mount the loose components manually through soldering

Knowledge about IPC standards for printed circuit board

Knowledge about PCB design and soldering

Adept in validating electrostatic discharge (ESD) and 5S system
