1-2 years on PCB assembly line
The tasks an In-process and Final Quality Engineer is expected to perform include:Checking final PCB assembly for functional conformance
Ensuring total quality or IPC or ISO standards compliance during the assembly of PCBs
Well versed with PCB assembly process
Knowledge of basic electronics, PCBs and components
Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and precautionary steps
Adept in quality system requirements and standards
Knowledge of customer specifications, drawings and sampling plan
Familiar with electronics products and troubleshooting at the assembly level
Efficient in ISO procedures and work instructions
Knowledge on electronics components, their different size, shape and type, datasheets
