The tasks a Surveyor Photogrammetric is expected to perform include:

Preparing topographical and project maps from air photographs of area by determining longitude and latitude of number of points on ground by triangulation or traverse method

Connecting photographs together in proper sequences aligning, features, pointing out details and information such as names of places, rivers, tracks administrative and forest boundaries and other verification data to have continuous picture of area photographed

Identifying control points using stereoscopes and verifies points on ground if they are not clear on photographs due to different scales of photograph from point to point, distortions or otherwise

Bringing photograph on same scale by applying graphical methods or using Photogrammetric machine

Proficient in surveying, cartography and mapping, geodesy, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and Geographic Information System

Well-versed in various of the field concepts, practices and procedures

Well-versedwithdigitalphotogrammetry,photogrammetricprofiling,GPSsurveying,sitesurveys,Total

Station

Proficient in photo-mapping, photo modeller, range finder

Proficient in analytical calculations and carry out simple mathematical calculations and understand coordinate geometry

The ability to use ICT in surveying

Understand and interpret engineering/construction drawings and carry out setting out of simple construction elements

Understand the use of map projections, graticules, grids and coordinate systems

Working hours
