The tasks an Aerial Photograph Interpreter is expected to perform include:

Interpreting photographs for timber evaluation, water shed management, construction, or mining

Enlarging photographs for detailed analysis

Using computers and data banks to store, retrieve, and compare information

Proficientintechnical skills like orthophoto mapping, colour shaded mapping, line mapping, vegetation mapping, digital terrain models, range finder, Geographic Information Systems, Aerial surveying

Equipped to use required instruments and perform their maintenance

Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Photograph Interpretation, Research, Drawing, Field Study

Strong working knowledge of Auto

CAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Arc

GIS software

Ability tooperate Total Station, Levelling, and GPS instruments

Knowledge of the limitations associated with taking photographs from a moving aircraft

Ability to visualize the finished product before its completion

Ability to determinetypesof cameras and equipment needed to capture clear photographs from mid-air

Proficient in using digital photograph editing software

Will be updated
