Overview of Aerial Application in Agriculture Sector in IndiaThere are various benefits of aerial application in agriculture, such as it gives us the ability to apply crop protection products in a timely and efficient manner, more economical coverage of large areas, can treat crops faster than ground machines, applications are not limited by wet soil, no crop damage and losses from tire tracks, compaction, etc.The aerial spraying of any pesticide is not allowed generally in India. The Government of India specifically gives permission for undertaking aerial spraying. The method is extensively used for seed spraying for big farms, where it is very difficult to do it manually. The increasing land consolidation will give rise to more opportunity in this sector for Manager Aerial Planting and Cultivation.
