Directing and coordinating activities of radio or television station

Leading the management team and ensuring the key objectives of the station are met in terms

Determining the station?s objectives

Providing leadership and motivation to station staff

Recruiting and retaining employees

Managing staff welfare and morale

Establishing the station's culture

Observing activities to ensure compliance with government regulations

Preparing operational budget and monitor expenses for the station

Developing strategies to promote sale of new cable services or upgrades

Knowledge on directing and coordinating activities of radio or television station

Competent to supervise subordinates and personnel engaged in departments, such as sales, programme, engineering and personnel

Well-versed on government regulations to ensure compliance

Equipped with information on preparing operational budget and monitoring expenses for station or franchise

Far sightedness to plan long term financial and business objective for the station
