The tasks a Cleaner, Hospital is expected to perform include:

Cleaning hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas

Washing beds and mattresses

Remaking beds after discharge of patients

Keeping utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition

Distributing laundered articles and linens

Proficiency in keeping utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition

Adept at replacing soiled drapes and cubicle curtains

Well-versed with disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment

Will be updated

Ability to focus for long hours

Diligent and hardworking

Good communication skills

Time management skill

Team player

It needs one to be on their toes

Local travelling is not part of this job role

Working hours

Working hours are 9/10 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from hospital to hospital
