The tasks that an Insulator, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Equipment is expected to perform include:Insulating refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment with various materials, such as cork or asbestos,Shaping, trimming and smoothing insulating sheets and blocks

Appling waterproof cement to insulating material and surfaces and pressing them together

Securing insulating material with wire and wire netting

Applying one or more layers of asbestos plaster over wire netting with trowel

Packing walls or partly assembled casing with sheets or loose particles of insulating material

Appling insulating material to hot or cold air ducts and pipes

Knowledge of insulating refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment with various materials, such as cork or asbestos,Ability to shaping, trim and smooth insulating sheets and blocks

Knowledge of applying waterproof cement

Proficient in securing insulating material

Knowledge of applying one or more layers of asbestos plaster over wire netting with trowel

Knowledge of packing walls or partly assembled casing with sheets or loose particles of insulating material

Ability to apply insulating material to hot or cold air ducts and pipes

However, there has been a slowdown of sale of refrigeration appliances, thus reducing volume growth. It went down from 20% in 2008 to just 2% in 2013. However, volume growth in refrigeration appliances is expected to improve from 2% in 2013 to 3% in 2015.Now the Indian economy is now slowly improving. Moreover, consumers, especially in parts of India with high per capita incomes, are gradually moving towards high-end, value-added products. So the sales are likely to increase, giving opportunities to various aspects of this industry.
