Jail Warden

The tasks a Warder, Jail is expected to perform include:

Guarding inmates of jails, reformatory or penitentiary, seeing to their needs and maintaining discipline

Searching arriving prisoners and putting their valuables in safe custody

Escorting prisoners to cell, locking them in and making periodic inspection of cells

Supervising prisoners at work and patrolling prison areas and walls to prevent escape of prisoners

Counting prisoners at odd hours and reporting missing or shortage to Head Warder or Jailer

Supervising serving of meals to prisoners and reporting illness of convicts to Jailor

Serving meals to prisoners

Teaching prisoners any craft or vocation

Ability to provide the inmates with their needs

Knowledge of jail laws and other laws regarding the uptake of the prisoners

Skilled in keeping the valuables of the prisoners in a safe custody

Skilled in patrolling the jail and making sure that there?s no attempt of prison break

Basic knowledge of some craft works which can be taught to the inmates

Ability to make check the health and other needs of the inmates
