Previous relevant work experience

The tasks a Computer Operator is expected to perform include: Operating computer and peripheral equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data, according to operating instructions Entering commands, using keyboard of computer terminal Entering commands to clear computer system and start operation, using keyboard of computer terminal Observing peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor of terminal to detect faulty output or machine stoppage

Entering commands to correct error or stoppage and resuming operations Notifying supervisor of errors or equipment stoppage

Clearing equipment at end of operating run and reviewing schedule to determine next assignment Recording problems that occurred, such as down time, and actions taken Answering telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problem Assisting workers in classifying, cataloguing, and maintaining tapes

Proficiency in computer operations

Abilty to Trouble shoot defects in computers and computer periphery

Ability to use database user interface and query software, network monitoring software, object- or component-oriented software and operating system software

Working hours

Companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company Shift system maybe available

Being self-employed is also an option. In this case, the working hours and days will be flexible

For candidates with up to 2 years? experience ? INR 9,000 to INR10,000 per month

For candidates with 2 to 5 years? experience ? INR 15,000 to INR16,000 per month

For candidates with over 5 years? experience ? INR23,000 to INR24,000 per month
