The tasks a Magician is expected to perform include:

Performing original and stock tricks of illusion

Entertaining and mystifying the audiences with sleight of hand

Arranging the props that will be used in the act

Co-ordinating and practicing the act, with the back stage workers and pop artists

Practicing new tricks, according to the event

Performing tricks by sleight-of the hand to turn stone into flowers, fruits, sweets, etc.

Using various methods of magic or illusion to astound watching audiences

Making the members of audience participate in the magic act

Knowledge of professional magic tricks

Efficient in directing the crew members responsible for lighting, costumes, makeup and props

Skilled in doing tricks that keep the audience involved

Knowledge of the various forms of magic

Skilled in handling and managing the magic props to be used

Basic Knowledge of the combination of science and various art forms Involved in magic
