Science Teacher

Minimum M.Sc. with B.Ed.

Preferably minimum 1-6 years of experience in relevant field

The tasks a Senior Secondary and Secondary School Teacher, Science is expected to perform include:

Teaching one or more subjects to students of high school, higher secondary school, multipurpose school in regional language or English

Teaching students of various standards

Allotting and correcting homework

Imparting practical instructions in science subjects in laboratory

Conducting tests and examinations, and deciding eligibility for promotion to higher standards

Maintaining school registers and records

Collecting fees, conducting sports and extracurricular activities such as scouting, hobby clubs, dramatics, etc.

Ability to handle students with vigour

Skilled in preparing and assessing examinations

In-depth knowledge of the subject to be taught

Knowledge of different teaching strategies and disciplinary techniques

Skilled in preparing lessons and delivering them

Basic knowledge of people/child psychology

Schools usually work for 5/6 days a week and 7/8 hours everyday. This may vary from school to school
