The tasks a Gynaecologist is expected to perform include:

Diagnosing and conducting treatment of disease and disorder of female genital organs

Conducting examination of body for symptoms of disease and disorder of other systems of the body

Conducting clinical test, histopathological examinations, etc.

Recording detailed history of ailment and diagnosis disorder

Treating ailments by medicinal or by surgical methods

Skilled in examining test reports of the patient

Skilled in detecting disease or disorder of female genital organs

In-depth knowledge of female reproductive system

Skilled in conducting surgeries

Ability to perform and interpret specialized tests and procedures

Competent in doing research in related field

Knowledge of medical practices

Keeping up-to-date with any advances in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
